Swallows & Aloe

An ever-evolving table centerpiece is one of my favorite ways to cure my design ADD. This is a lovely and simple configuration of our two swallows from Alison book-ending my ever-so-efficient aloe plant.

Use your aloe plant on cuts or burns for an all-natural healing gel.

cute, I like the birds. I have a set of white salt/pepper shakers that are birds. love birds...anyways my aloe plants got left out in a hard freeze and took some harsh damage. however, it has been determined that they will survive. :)

This aloe vera looks harmless now, but it is going to grow into a monster! Trust me I know! These babies get HUGE!!!

Start buying bigger pots now for the transfer.

Really, because I have been wanting this bugger to grow and he stays the same. I've had him for years now. Maybe I should transfer him now so he has room to grow. Thanks!

my aloe plant has survived 3 moves with me so far and has been the only plant that i can't manage to kill.

fyi: if you want it to grow, just re-pot it. i don't have a green thumb by any means, but i'm pretty sure if you give his roots more room to grow then the rest of him will grow, too. worked for me at least.
