EP 37 /// Copper & Suede Wall Display

Last week's DIY on Handmade is a favorite of mine, in which we let the simple industrial modern supplies do most of the work. A clean and crisp aesthetic that serves a utilitarian purpose? I'm IN.

Today's DIY project on HGTV Handmade will help you get your stuff together, quite literally. Episode 31 /// Vacation Instagram Trays

Lucite is everything. It's clean, fresh, it's like it's NOT EVEN THERE. Perfect for small spaces and absolutely a fantastic supply to get your DIY on with. Last week we organized our jewelry with it, and this week on HGTV Handmade we are using lucite trays to hold + display our favorite little items while displaying our favorite vacation photos. I've been to California every month for the last 3 months. I should get a Bi-coastal badge or something. What I DO have is a collection of California dreamy palm tree pics that I am dying to bring into my New York City apartment.

Today's DIY is the perfect solution!

Catch-Up

Summer is in full force with vacation photos filling up our feeds and making me just a little but jealous. I've been hard at work on some really exciting projects with some incredibly talented and lovely human beings. I've also been cooking up some exciting plans for MACC, my YouTube channel that has been a little neglected as of late. Not for long! I'll fill you in on each job, video, and project as they roll out, and in the meantime, let's catch-up on the DIY-front, shall we? I last shared with you my DIY Botanical Heart Art, since then you might want to check out:

Episode 26 // I Answer YOUR Questions

Last week's episode of HGTV Handmade had each of us ladies answer the viewer's questions ranging from favorite colors to fairy princess powers. I was into it. It was super fun to be on the HGTV set with some of my favorite girls. Check it out!

Episode 25 // Layered Fringe Photo Booth Backdrop

I am back home after 2 weeks away from my bed, balcony, and Brooklyn brownstone. My time spent since last I posted included 18,000 teenagers, David Bromstad, and swimming with a shark in the wild (NOT on purpose). It's been eventful, as has my HGTV Handmade playlist. Today, a new video will debut, but in case you missed the last 2, I also posted a DIY Photo Booth Backdrop tutorial that is not-to-be-missed. Check it out here for a series of seriously adorable dog photos.

Episode 24 // Mystery Box Challenge // Part 1

This week on HGTV Handmade we are doing something a little different. In today's video, you see all of us ladies receive a "mystery box" in the mail filled with supplies. We then had to use at least 5 of the supply items and whatever else we already had, to create something new. It was really fun and definitely a challenge, so check out today's video. You'll see my full DIY in tomorrow's video, and the REVEAL of all 4 of our creations on Friday. Be sure to let us know what you think of this new vibe in the comment section on YouTube.

Father's Day is coming up this weekend, so all week long we are showing you some great DIY gift ideas for dad over on HGTV Handmade. In today's video, I take on the Pinterest project I've seen floating around and show you how to make dishwasher safe customized mugs for Father's Day.

I made my own designs and you can too, but if you need a little help or inspiration you can download and print out the templates below by clicking on them. Check out the video to see how!

Episode 22 // DIY Dip Dye

Very few projects are as beautiful in the DIY world as hand dyed textiles. Each and every piece is one of a kind by nature, and the organic lines, shapes, not to mention vibes that these give off are beyond dreamy. In this week's video on HGTV Handmade I show you how to dip dye some cotton pillow cases in a few different techniques.

Dye can be intimidating, but today, I hold your unstained hand (because you wore gloves) while you try it yourself. If nothing else, this video is particularly precious due to the perfect pup who serves as my co-host.

Episode 20 // Modern Home Chalkboard Organizer

This week's DIY on HGTV Handmade is an attempt at calming the chaos that can take over an entryway of a home. You can use this anywhere, but it serves the entryway just beautifully. Stash mail, keys, and sunglasses in one clean, modern spot that also holds a place for your chalk to leave notes and reminders. It's perfect and already coming to the rescue for us in a few ways.

Episode 19 // Driftwood Wall Art

This week's DIY for HGTV Handmade is one with a relaxing vibe and beachy aesthetic. I'm into the summer breeze flowing through the apartment these days and longing to put my feet in the sand. Until we can do just that, we can bring some of those beachy vibes into our homes with driftwood wall hangings. With unending customization options this project packs the most punch when hung in a cluster, but one singular suspended piece is also quite lovely.
