These were my nana's glasses and when my mom didn't know what to do with them I thought of framing them. I love how these particular eyeglass frames clearly capture a little pocket of time and they remind me of my sweet nana so much. I can just see her eyes light up when I look at them.
To attach them, I simply got shadowbox frames at Ikea and used galvanized wire. I made little holes about a 1/4" apart and created loops with the wire in the middle of the frame, and guided the glasses in. Less than 20 minutes and $20.
