Organic Modern Woodsy Tablescape

I hope you and yours had a lovely Thanksgiving and that you have plenty to be grateful for this holiday season. We escaped to the Poconos with friends and had a very fun and relaxing time surrounded by mountains, trees, deer, and very happy dogs. Along with our cabin-wear, I packed a tablescape to transform our Thanksgiving table into an organic modern woodsy scene.

Burlap, a vintage white cotton runner, pine cones, tea lights, woodland animal figurines, and gold and white hand-carved clay faceted gems all came together to create a simple scene that complimented our surroundings.

Along with a delicious turkey, mashes potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, pumpkin bread, and brussel sprout dinner, we had the most delicious drink. We traveled with our friend Danielle Craig, a mixologist who made Pumpkin Margaritas from scratch that were absolutely devine.

Lovely! And I never thought of making faux-gemstones out of clay, that's so clever and easy! Out to make some shiny treasures now :)
