The highly-coveted item this week is this Stacked Books Wallpaper! There's got to be a way we can DIY this mug. Please put on your thinking caps and let's get to the bottom of this.

That is pretty nifty! My only idea is to take a good picture of a stack of books, then have large copies made at the copy shop and paste onto your walls. :) Other than that, I got nothin! You could also collect a ton of hard cover books, cut off the spines and attach them to the wall in a stacking manner. It would have a lot more texture!
oooh I like the cutting off the spine idea... although I don't know if that would be to permanent. I like things that are easily changed...
Hmm... maybe you could glue spines to pieces of board and staple/nail them to the wall? That way it's still removable? I'm the kind of person who'd just glue the crap out of my wall and only think about the mess later ;). I'm sure my husband is happy we're in an apartment!
