In this episode of Decor It Yourself, I take our dark and dingy sink area and give the back splash a face-life. Again, bringing a new technique into the mix by cutting mirror and tiling it with mastic. Us ladies can do it all! Oh, and a vintage Ghostbusters tee always helps.

I love the Halloween episode, and the backsplash is a really good idea. I look forward to every Decor It Yourself episode. I was hoping maybe you could do one about winterizing, specifically for apartments? Some of the ideas online that I've found like "put cardboard over your windows" sound ugly not that efficient. Any way you can help me winterize with style?
I love the Ghostbusters shirt you're wearing! Even though I live in a dorm and can't redecorate things the way I'd like to by using your tutorials, I like to think about how I want to incorporate your ideas into my future place-of-my-own. Sweet shtuff.
