I found and bought these vintage wooden birds at the Salvation Army for $2.99. I thought they had cool silhouettes, but wanted to change the color. Mod it up a bit, if you will.
Tools
-wooden birds
-black glossy paint
-paint brush
-recycled magazines
#1-Place magazines on the floor
#2-Lay the wooden birds on magazines
#3-Shake an stir your paint
#4-Begin painting your birds or figures.
#5-Allow time for first coat to dry.
#6-Add second coat. And continue this process until you have a few thin layers of glossy paint to create a smooth, modern look.
And...VOILA!
Clean, silhouettes for a fresh look on a vintage piece.
