Branch

Branch is a fantastic web shop that provides sustainable design for living. Always earth-friendly and always chic, Branch is lovely and useful.

These rad and colorful bowls are handmade by Bambu in Vietnam. Bambu works only with manufacturing partners who demonstrate a commitment to health and safety, environmental protection and fair labor practices. In turn, Bambu supports and reinforces worker health and safety measures, and funds international third-party auditing procedures. Organically grown bamboo, and available in 9 vibrant colors.
Love this bird feeder by PERCH! Made of white earthenware, can hang anywhere and looks so mod and fresh. Perch also makes this cool Early Bird light.

This is a really unique recycled object. SoftBowls are a line of decorative bowls made from 100% molded wool. Manufactured in Philadelphia by one of the last remaining millineries in the US, each container is handmade by local craftspeople. Available in a variety of colors and three different designs (Beehive, Wobowl and Swoop), SoftBowls can be mixed and matched into fun groupings.

And with gardening season in full bloom, look at the easy, time-saving little gifts they provide for the busy bee who doesn't have time to have a full-time-green thumb. You can have a mini-garden with these herbs in a bag, plant eggs and garden buddies. Also great gift ideas for your buddy without a patio or back yard.

Love these Branch scarves.

Branch even carries the most eco-conscious kid and baby toys I have ever found. To subtly encourage children to think about what they purchase, these toys are is hand-knit by women who belong to a collective of knitters in rural Kenya. These adorable animals beat spending your money at Target. While I love Target` and their prices, they get 80% of their funding from the Republican party or some nonsense like that. branch provides gifts and products tht are even cuter, and you can feel comfortable spending your money in such an eco-conscious way.

Not only do these adorabl animals teach children to love and respect our earth's beautiful creatures, but the innovative design makes these polar bears and bunnies warm-able! Read Branch's description below and you'll know what I mean.

These beautiful heirloom stuffed animals serve double-duty: they're great to cuddle with as is, but thanks to ingenious design, they can also be warmed. Simply unzip the back to remove the packet of cherry stones (or spelt chaff), wrap it in a towel, and place it atop a radiator or a warm stove. When it's warm to the touch (not too hot!), replace the packet into the toy. (To cool the packet, simply wrap it in a towel and place it in the freezer. Then replace it into the toy.)

Wear this rad cork cuff and always have a spot to put it with the shape it was cut out of. Genius. Individually numbered to insure that it is one-of-a-kind. DIY or die, yo.
How fantastically practical. For the lazy and poor hippie in you, these are biodegradable paper plates and cups! With summer around the corner, picnics, BBQs and beach trips should be in full swing, requiring deposable eatery. Branch makes this totally possible without being a total jerk and having to buy paper products you'll just pitch, or even worse STYROFOAM (duh-duh-duuuuuh). Phew.

*Their prices are ridiculously reasonable for these biodegradable, non-bleached, compostable plates, cups and utensils. Leaving no more excuses for unnecessary waste, kids.

Keep the art of hand-written love letters, thank you notes and pen pal correspondence alive with these vintage magazine post cards.
